Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the media industry, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Kubernetes, Akamai CDN, SSL management, and hybrid cloud systems to deliver robust and scalable solutions while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize Helm Charts and deployment configurations for Kubernetes (Rancher).
- Ensure timely renewal and management of SSL Certificates across multiple domains to prevent outages.
- Execute Akamai CDN implementations, updates, and configurations.
- Diagnose and resolve system outages and performance issues.
- Address and remediate security requirements across both cloud and on-premises systems.
- Develop and uphold engineering and architectural standards for hybrid compute, storage, and data protection services.
- Generate regular and on-demand system reports to support operational transparency.
- Assist in documenting and refining daily operational procedures for efficiency and consistency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Rancher Kubernetes containerization.
- Proficiency in Akamai CDN configuration and management.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with AVI load balancing solutions.
- Background in global on-call enterprise system support.
